Poster Details

• Use a standard 22" x 28" White Poster Board. Available at most office supply stores.
• The poster must be arranged using a portrait or vertical orientation.
• Include a typed brief biography of the inventor(s).
• Include a typed brief description of the invention.
• Bibliography typed with at least 3 sources. One which must be from a non-electronic source (that means, a book or magazine or something you must read that doesn't need to be plugged in).
• Include a photo, drawing, or sketch of the inventor(s).
• Include a photo, drawing, or sketch of the invention.
• Include a timeline with six important dates related to the inventor(s) and the invention. Also include on your timeline at least four other significant historical dates not directly related to the inventor(s) and the invention.
• The poster should be visually appealling and should create an interest in the viewer that makes them want to learn more about your invention and the inventor(s).
• On a 3x5 card, glue a typed piece of paper which includes; your first and last name, your grade level, your TLC period and the date. Place this card in the bottom right hand corner of the poster.
